Hey! I’m Jimena, a multi-passionate artist, or as some would say in my native country: “un estuche de monerías”. I primarily work as an actor though in recent years I’ve become a children’s author and an award-winning filmmaker. I also write poetry, paint, do clowning, teach Spanish and create something out of “seemingly” nothing at any given opportunity. Flannery O’Connor said: “The artist prays by creating”, and that’s definitely me.
I’m passionate about life, curious about humanity, inspired by philosophy, fueled by social justice, intrigued by the divine, geared towards creating beauty and magic, and relentless about connecting with others through stories and art.
